About Beulah Park

A Look Inside Our School

Beulah Park Elementary School was built in 1971. It serves as one of our PreK-2 grade level centers and is one of the few schools throughout the nation that are characterized as an "Open School".  Back in the 1970's the Open Education Movement supported greater open spaces, with the removal of small classrooms. Beulah Park Elementary School does not have interior walls to create classrooms. Instead, classroom spaces are created by soft partitions.

In 2024, a large construction project will begin, redesigning the interior of the school building and adding structural classroom walls. Upon completion Beulah Park Elementary School will no longer be an "Open School".
