Academic Enrichment
Every day, our faculty and staff are committed to maximizing the learning of every child. We provide a rigorous, student-centered curriculum at all grade levels. In addition to our core instruction, ZESD 6 offers accelerated programming. As a community, we support our learners academically, socially, and emotionally as part of the Zion family each and every day.
We believe that our students who possess a distinctive set of strengths and/or abilities that surpass grade level curriculum and exhibit high proficiency in ELA or math, are offered specialized instruction. Our programs offer a range of instructional services, through acceleration and/or enrichment.
Within our District’s Accelerated Placement Program there are options for early entrance, single-subject acceleration, and grade acceleration for students showcasing high ability and potential benefits from accelerated placement are available.
