Beth Samuels Principal

My name is Beth Samuels, and I am honored to serve as the Principal of Beulah Park Elementary. I have worked in Zion Elementary School District 6 for over five years and have been in education for over twenty years.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving students in a variety of roles, including teaching kindergarten through fifth grade, ESL, and Dual Language. These experiences have strengthened my belief that every child deserves a safe, supportive, and student-centered environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

I am deeply committed to building strong relationships with students, staff, and families and fostering a positive school culture where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed.

My husband, Rob, and I live in Wadsworth and are proud parents of six wonderful children. Both of us were raised in Zion and are proud graduates of Zion-Benton Township High School. Serving the Zion community is especially meaningful to me because it is the community that helped shape who I am. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back and remain dedicated to putting students first in all that I do.

John Fredrickson Assistant Principal

Welcome to Beulah Park!

My name is John Fredrickson, and I am honored to be part of the Beulah Park community. I am excited to work with our students, families, and staff to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

I earned my Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I also hold Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin Stout.

Before joining Beulah Park School, I served as an administrator in Beach Park, Illinois, for many years. I began my career as an elementary school teacher in Bristol, Wisconsin, where I discovered my passion for helping students grow to meet their full potential.

My wife and I live in Kenosha, Wisconsin and we are proud parents of two college students. Our daughter attends the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where she is majoring in Child and Adolescent Psychology with a minor in Spanish. Our son is studying Exercise Science/Kinesiology at Carthage College, where he is also a member of the cross country and track teams.

Outside of school, I enjoy cheering on Wisconsin sports teams and have a lifelong appreciation for music from my time as a DJ. I also enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

I am excited for the opportunity to partner with our students, families, and staff to make this school year a successful, rewarding, and memorable one. Please reach out to me and I would be happy to assist in any way I can.

Mr. Fredrickson
